Situation:
Lemme approached The DPS to help develop a highly innovative supplement bottle and PR box for the launch of Lemme Sleep gummies. With a deadline right around the corner, they asked us to get as close to the original design vision and sustainability directive as possible–giving us the opportunity to select the materials and specifications we felt were most realistic based on our manufacturing expertise.
Strategy:
In order to realize the design concept and sustainability directives, we enlisted both our creative team and materials specialists to collaborate on an aesthetically aligned and structurally feasible strategy. Together they worked on every aspect to ensure superior results–from selecting 100% PCR material for the bottle to creating a gem placement map for the PR box to ensure flawless execution in production.
Solution:
For the primary package, we were able to produce a custom 100% PCR bottle with a pristine level of material clarity and overall quality. For the PR box, we sourced custom-made jewels and canvas-textured paper to mimic the look and handfeel of an old fairytale book. Matte finish on the inside pages and a glossy UV spot treatment on the images added dimension. The finished products show how a strong understanding of design feasibility and materials can result in something truly magical.
